Agent Orange - Bloodstains (Studio Version)
I saw them years ago at the Lion’s Lair in Denver, CO. And they’re still touring strong, if you’re in CA you can check them out at Clash V aka the Clash at Claremont at the Mission Valley YMCA Skatepark on March 19, 2011.

Who’s Next?
Ethereal, Tropical, Crunk, Visual or Acousmatic - these labels seem to define the sounds that speak to me most recently.
Now we have Unouomedude.
Jacksonville’s Unouomedude is making some bold pop. He’s bringin’ everything from 8-bit beatz to anthemic indie jams, and covering it all with strong vocals. I expect we’ll be seeing a lot more from Uno in the coming months. Give him a follow on the tumblrs.

Turn On The Lights
We stumbled across The So So Glos in the fall in 2008, right around Thanksgiving in Bushwick, Brooklyn in a venue that reminded us of a living room. Many words have been used to describe their sound, not the least of which include punk, crunk and tropical. Alex Levine’s youthful voice evokes memories of Joe Strummer and the feelgood vibes of The Clash at their height. They revived Brooklyn’s All-Ages music scene with the opening of the Market Hotel, a joint effort with promoter Todd P. At this point they have made three recordings available to the public, including a 7” single for Throw Your Hands Up, a self-titled LP and most recently Tourism/Terrorism which includes the standout track Island Loops, whose marching band inspired drums immediately call the listener to attention. If tha track alone is not enough to get you out to the show, consider all the money you will save shooting Evan Williams with a Black Label chaser.
Go get rowdy tonight!
